Scientists discover tipping point for the spread of ideas
Scientists at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute have found that when just 10 percent of the population holds an unshakable belief, their belief will always be adopted by the majority of the society. The scientists, who are members of the Social Cognitive Networks Academic Research Center (SCNARC) at Rensselaer, used computational and analytical methods to discover the tipping point where a minority belief becomes the majority opinion. The finding has implications for the study and influence of societal interactions ranging from the spread of innovations to the movement of political ideals.

Scientists at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute have found that when just 10 percent of the population holds an unshakable belief, their belief will always be adopted by the majority of the society. What this means is we only need 10% of the population to understand how these few individuals are robbing us and enslaving us to transform the narrative society believes in, to stop them.
I remember once when I was doing sales of the jewellery I made in the Craft's Fair at the world's Habitat Conference in Vancouver in 1976. I was lucky to be inside the central Vancouver Train Station because instead of the usually sunny summer Vancouver weather, we got in fact a wet and cool miserable time.
During the 2 weeks I was there everyday, I got to know one homeless man who used to have a marriage, his own business and a home, giving me a new perspective on how anyone can one day end up in a homeless situation.
I feel disgusted with so many cities in the US criminalizing homelessness by passing laws that forbid people from giving away food to homeless sufferers, and laws against sitting or laying on the street which ends up costing tax-payers police and jail expenses that are higher than the new Housing First solution offers, besides being more human. Cities often forbid land owners from allowing homeless people from camping out in it, pushing the poor people from one place to another more insecure, with complete families carrying children and older senior family.
It was then that I met briefly Pierre Trudeau, the Canadian Prime Minister at the time, when he was inspecting the fair and he came into my jewellery booth. Homelessness has grown despite an increase in labor productivity in all these years, which according to statistics has not translated in an increase in salary or job security. All advances in that regard have been absorbed (stolen?) by the 0.01 % of the population who have increased their capital holdings in extremely obscene ways in the last few years.
The impression I get is this phase of Capitalism has taken off the mask completely and is openly promoting a law of the jungle rational, where the strongest eats the weakest and grows unlimited by any regulation, and even when they get into trouble from widespread greed as it happened in 2007, the richest pass the bill to the 99% masses to keep on doing it, resulting in the current world-wide debt crisis producing even more homeless people and families.
The current socio-economic system promotes "elected" politician's corruption by having an open electoral donations laws that give personhood to corporations, without any limits and even kept hidden, so we don't know who really is benefiting from a politician's position once elected.
The human Housing First approach has proven to be effective in solving this growing problem. While banksters and corrupt politicians promote the fallacy of "Too Big To Fail" lies and nonsense

One week after police enforced trespassing laws on the private property that Tent City sat on, they're doing the same thing in a wooded area just west of the original location.
Residents of the new Tent City were told to be out by 9 a.m. Police officials said they were OK with people taking a little longer, just as long as people were making an effort to get out.
Police say they've cleared out both areas because of a rise in violence in the area, but many people have wondered - now with the violent offenders scattered around the area and not just in the two tent cities, could it make the problem worse?
City officials said they're trying to help. The city will pay $1.3 million over the next four to six months to help the homeless - specifically with a one-stop homeless center.
Vouchers have also been passed around Tent City entitling people to a night's stay at the St. Francis House.
Regardless, many former Tent City residents have trouble staying optimistic.
