Scientists discover tipping point for the spread of ideas
Scientists at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute have found that when just 10 percent of the population holds an unshakable belief, their belief will always be adopted by the majority of the society. The scientists, who are members of the Social Cognitive Networks Academic Research Center (SCNARC) at Rensselaer, used computational and analytical methods to discover the tipping point where a minority belief becomes the majority opinion. The finding has implications for the study and influence of societal interactions ranging from the spread of innovations to the movement of political ideals.

What this means is we only need 10% of the population to understand how these few individuals are robbing us and enslaving us to transform the narrative society believes in, to stop them.
Today we're blasted constantly with an avalanche of negative news of corporations spilling oil in the Golf of Mexico and elsewhere, or dumping filthy chemicals affecting the lives of thousands, but a new Paradigm is being born as we speak inside the old one crumbling, by people who start new enterprises whose motivations are not simply to get rich as shown in this article, but to set up the conditions to achieve our complete individual potential in full. It is the attempt to solve the current wide malaise of Corporate control over our society and our lives.
There is no political democracy unless we establish an economic one in direct relation to ourselves and the community we live in.
Sharing the power to direct our productive activity of labor, and its rewards is the basic human right we all have access to if we so choose it.
True democracy by its own nature is labor intensive to do it properly, having to agree in all major decisions with the rest of its members, and Coops are the same, but the rewards are many for everyone in it, including management when it's done properly.
Having everyone in the coop feeling as part of the "adventure" a business is, with its ups and downs, rewards and losses, a sense of camaraderie forms as part of the new company, increasing resilience.
A Coop corporation is unlikely to make decisions to dump hazardous materials when people and nature will be affected, and much less where the workers live as it happens today with some for-profit corporations trying to "save money" and increase their profits.
Fortunately there are several good size Cooperatives as large as big corporations, proving it is possible to develop large businesses capable to replace the for-profit current model supplying the goods and services we're used to consuming, but without thedrawbacks of greed and selfishness the world is suffering today, if we do it cooperatively.
We need an economy that values PEOPLE over Capital.
